Amy Akers Teets

Global Public Affairs Lead, Pompe & MPS at Sanofi

Amy Akers Teets has been working in Public Affairs and Patient Advocacy space for the past 20 years. She joined Sanofi as the Global Head of Rare Diseases for Pompe and MPS in 2020. In this role she works closely with the rare disease communities to identify ways to collaborate, co-create and address the unmet needs of people living with or affected by rare disease.

Previously Amy was the Global COO of Cullari Communications where she served as a consultant to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries working across a number of therapeutic areas including oncology, infant health, cardiovascular health and rare diseases.

She is also a past President of the National Perinatal Association and has served as a board member of several health-focused patient groups.
