Lolita Smith-Moore is a North Carolina native, graduate of East Carolina University (2007 and 2011), and public health professional with 16 years of experience in the public health sector. Lolita is highly skilled in program and project management with a health equity and social justice lens. Most of her work has been within or in collaboration with state organizations, statewide nonprofits, community-based organizations, and academic institutions in the areas of chronic disease and maternal and child health. She has experience in developing evaluation metrics as part of overall strategic plans, contracting and grantmaking oversite, and engaging communities and stakeholders to further increase awareness of health inequities.
