Mark O'Brien

Senior Vice President, Leasing, Operations and Sustainability at PRO REIT

Mark O’Brien is Managing Director, responsible for PROREIT’s operations since 2013. Prior to joining PROREIT, Mark was Director of Acquisitions for First Capital Realty, where he executed the company’s strategy in the Québec and Atlantic Canada markets. From 2010 to 2012, as senior manager of acquisitions with CANMARC, he was responsible for the sourcing, underwriting and closing of 43 post-IPO acquisitions with a combined asset value of $650M. Previous roles include Vice President at TD Securities and commercial mortgage-backed securities underwriter with Merrill Lynch Canada. Mr. O’Brien has a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Allison University (Sackville, New Brunswick) and obtained his OACIQ and OREA real estate licensing in 1996 and 1998, respectively.
