Kate Healy is a financial services industry executive and NextGen advocate, purposefully building brands. She is CEO of AdvoKate IQ, LLC, a wealth management consultancy firm designed to help firms create growth strategies. Founded in 2023, Healy brings more than three decades of guidance in financial services, including expertise in leadership, marketing, talent development, and practice management for financial services and advisory firms.

Healy is widely recognized as a leading advocate for the next generation of financial planners, for women advisors, and for the financial planning profession. Wealthmanagement.com named her to the 2018 “Ten to Watch” list. In 2016, Investment Advisor magazine named Healy as one of the industry’s 25 most influential people. Healy was named to InvestmentNews' inaugural "Women to Watch" in 2015.

Healy is a frequent speaker at industry events including InvestmentNews, FA Magazine, Future Proof, Wealth Management, FPA, NAPFA and TD Ameritrade’s LINC national conference. She is a contributor to industry publications and podcasts, including Barron’s: The Way Forward, WealthManagement.com, and InvestmentNews.

She currently serves on the FinServ Foundation Advisory Board, a nonprofit working to empower the next generation of financial professionals and create a pathway through coaching, mentorship, and community.

Healy spent over a decade as a trustee of the Foundation for Financial Planning, helping advisors provide pro bono financial advice to the underserved. This included roles as Vice Chair (2019-2020) and Board Chair (2021-2022). She currently serves on the Foundation’s Development Committee.

She is a prior board member of the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation, helping recognize advisors who give back to their communities. Healy was a founding member of the CFP Board’s Center for Financial Planning, serving as a member of the Advisory Board, and the WIN Initiative, Workforce Development and Diversity committees. She was the Managing Director of the Center from 2022-2023.

Prior to that, Healy was Managing Director, Generation Next and Marketing for TD Ameritrade Institutional. Prior to 2008, she was in product development at Merrill Lynch, and headed marketing for the MetLife Broker Dealer Group and MetLife Financial Planning.

Healy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers College.
