Jonathan Bauman, CFA, is vice president and senior client portfolio manager for American Century Investments, a premier investment manager headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. He is based in the company’s Kansas City, Missouri office.

Jonathan is a member of the Multi-Asset Strategies discipline and is responsible for communicating investment strategy and results to the firm’s clients and consultants. Jonathan has also been a client advisor, providing guidance to clients about the financial markets and the firm's investment strategies. Prior to that, Jonathan was a senior financial analyst, responsible for providing fundamental research for several of the firm’s U.S. growth equity strategies. Jonathan has worked in the investment industry since joining American Century Investments in 1998.

Jonathan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Illinois Wesleyan University. He is a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute, and a Fundamentals of Sustainable Accounting (FSA) Credential holder. Jonathan is also a member of the Kansas City CFA Society, where he previously served as a member of the Board of Directors and is a past president.
