His strong business acumen, refined analytical skills and objectivity allow him to advise independent business owners who want to accelerate growth via mergers, acquisitions and recruiting.

As President of Diamond Consultants, Louis is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm, with an eye toward future growth. Much like the advisors he counsels, his focus remains on providing the best advice possible for those we work with, while transforming the firm into a scalable enterprise.

After graduating magna cum laude with a BBA degree in Finance and International Business from George Washington University, Louis began his career with some of the biggest names in the financial services industry. Working as a consultant at Ernst & Young, and in wealth management at Morgan Stanley and UBS, prepared him to understand the financial world from a client’s perspective.

Louis is an author and contributor to the financial services media on industry news and trends, including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Planning magazine, Barron’s, The Washington Post, WealthManagement.com, FundFire, RIABiz, ThinkAdvisor, Citywire and OnWallStreet. In addition to being active on social media and writing for the Diamond Consultants article library, he also co-hosts our podcast for financial advisors, Mindy Diamond on Independence.

In his free time, Louis enjoys travel, spending time with family and friends, exploring his favorite city in the world, New York, and especially supporting his favorite teams: the Yankees and Giants.
