Maryna Lundgren has a PhD-degree in probability theory and stochastic processes from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University; she is a qualified member of Swedish Society of Actuaries.Currently Maryna works as an actuary in Finansinspektionen, Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, with the questions related to Solvency II regulation, implementation and reporting. Maryna is a member of FSAs’ Nordic Technical Provision Working Group and EIOPA’s Technical Provision Working Group.
She is involved in a quantitative and qualitative Solvency II reporting analysis and a number of on-site and off-site inspections on Swedish market. Maryna has over 15 years of work experience as a life actuary. Previously she has been working with actuarial modelling for calculating technical provisions, capital requirements, future profits, stress testing, ORSA etc. for different types of portfolios in two of top ten Swedish life insurance companies – SEB Life and Pension and Länsförsäkringar Liv.
Maryna has an experience of working on the developing markets, and during 2004-2010 she has been holding positions as a responsible actuary and a consulting actuary in a number of Ukrainian life insurance companies.
