Constance ChalchatHead of Company’s Engagement – CIB at BNP Paribas
Constance Chalchat is the Head of Company Engagement for CIB and is a member of the CIB Executive Committee.
Constance is responsible for Strategic Marketing & Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) within CIB. As environmental and societal issues are at the core of BNP Paribas’s strategy, CIB Company Engagement’s mission is to work closely with all of CIB business lines and functions in order to accelerate its sustainable finance activities, as well as partnering with Human Resources to promote diversity and inclusion, drivers of engagement within the company.

Constance joined BNP Paribas in 2001 as Strategic Marketing Manager for equity derivatives at CIB. She was then appointed Global Head of Transformation, People Development, Marketing & Communication for equity derivatives before becoming Head of Change Management from October 2014 until February 2019. Her responsibilities included overseeing CIB’s transformation programme, including the digital development of the bank and CIB’s sustainable finance programme to promote the positive role of finance and investment.
Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Constance spent three years at Deloitte Consulting, where she worked on marketing strategy projects in Europe and South America. She has also held various management positions in strategic marketing, including with Danone in New York and Nike in Europe,
Education and publications
Constance holds an MBA in Finance from HEC Paris business school and recently completed Positive Impact business certified training at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
She is the author of “Technology, threat or lever of change?”, published in l’Annale des Mines in 2018
