Deirdre is a Independent Non-Executive Director and Advisor. She was the Group Chief Risk Officer at AIB and a member of the Executive Management team, chairing the Executive Risk Committee.
Deirdre joined AIB from the National Treasury Management Agency where she was Chief Risk Officer. She has held a number of senior international risk management roles with GE Capital and progressively senior roles in Bank of Ireland, primarily in Strategy and Risk Management. Previous to that, she worked in Retail and Corporate Banking with AIB and Rabobank.
In 2010, she was admitted as a Chartered Director to the Institute of Directors in London and is also a Certified Investment Fund Director.
