Doug Summa is a Partner at PwC with over thirty years of experience advising clients on a spectrum of valuation, risk management and capital measurement issues related to trading activities. He has advised clients on complex financial instrument valuation, risk and capital measurement and management techniques for market, credit and operational risk, and model governance, development and validation over valuation, risk and capital models.
Mr. Summa’s clients include a broad range of financial services companies including global and U.S. banks, insurance companies, mutual and hedge funds. He has assisted these firms in the successful development, implementation and execution of best practices approaches to the measurement and management of valuation and risk. In addition, he has worked on extensively on capital measurement, risk appetite setting and performance evaluation.
Mr. Summa received his MBA and BA from Columbia University. He is a board member of the International Association of Quantitative Finance and the Financial Instruments Board of the International Valuation Standards Council.
