Gera KiewietPrincipal Supervisor at European Central Bank
Gera Kiewiet has joined the Supervisory Policy Division of the European Central Bank on the 1st of June 2017. She is an expert on accounting and capital/own funds, and is in charge of leading the ECB horizontal supervisory activities on IFRS 9 for the largest banks of the euro area. In addition she is representing the ECB in several international working groups.
Gera has started her career at EY in 2012 where he took part in audits of different multinational companies. She joined the Dutch Central Bank in 2014 as a policy advisor in the area of banking policies where she worked a.o. on IFRS 9, own funds, NPLs and Pillar 2 in the supervisory policies division; she represented the Dutch Central Bank in various technical working groups on accounting, capital and Pillar 2 at the European Banking Authority, the Basel Committee and the European Commission.
Gera holds 3 master degrees in the area of Accounting and Finance and is a chartered controller.
