Jason Rueda is the Global Head of Resiliency for GTI (Global Technology Infrastructure) in JP Morgan Chase. He is responsible for driving the global compliance of business and technology resiliency and mitigate risk, which in turn enables JP Morgan Chase to conduct business and service its customers.
Additionally, Rueda and his team strive to be the developers, early adopters, biggest influencers, and best promoters of new policies and standards. He routinely presents his strategies on how to reduce risk through the use of technology, strategically positioned global teams, and governance, to the various Leadership Teams in JP Morgan Chase.
Prior to joining JP Morgan Chase in 2011, Rueda was director of resiliency with EMC. With more than 26 years in the high-tech industry, he has also served in various IT leadership positions within JP Morgan Chase, T-Mobile and SMBC (Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation). Rueda attended New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and holds MCSE, CCNA and CBCP.
Rueda supports the next generations of technologists by creating and running a University outreach group within JP Morgan Chase. He has leveraged this group to serve as a trusted advisor and mentor to new and future potential employees of JP Morgan Chase. He is also a member of the CEEL Advisory Board for Saint Peter’s University.
