Kevin O'Rourke

Group Head of Risk Management at Bank ABC (Arab Banking Corporation B.S.C.)

Kevin O'Rourke is the Group Head of Risk Management at Bank ABC (Arab Banking Corporation B.S.C) based at their Head Office in Bahrain.

Prior to Bank ABC he was CRO for Mizuho Bank (EMEA) and former Supervisory Board member of Mizuho Bank Europe, where he Chaired the Board Risk Committee.

Kevin has covered all aspects of risk oversight including strategic, market, liquidity, credit, conduct, cyber, sustainability and operational risk. He has worked in the industry for over 30 years and has gained experience through a variety of roles however his primary focus and discipline has been in of Risk Management and Oversight.

Kevin sits on the Advisory Committee for the European Risk Management Council (ERMC), a think tank of risk executives from leading financial institutions and global corporations and has also had a long-standing affiliation with PRMIA.
