Satyawan Singh leads the Global Markets' IBOR Transition Programme for HSBC Singapore, Thailand and Philippines. He is responsible for the operational readiness of RFR products, regulatory engagements, managing various risks in IBOR to RFR transition and other aspects of IBOR Programme. Prior to working for HSBC, he led the Product Control and Governance stream at United Overseas Bank(UOB) Singapore. He has over 12 + years of experience in working in the financial domain with companies such as PwC, ANZ, SocGen, RBS and Standard Bank. He has worked on multiple risk and regulatory programmes such as Basel III, BCBS 239, SA-CCR, UMR, MiFID, EMIR, Dodd Frank etc.

Satya has also devoted himself for the progress and adoption of Blockchain technology. In last several years he has organized and participated in many workshops, conferences and meetups dedicated to blockchain technologies use cases. Satya has published many articles, research papers and cash studies on divergent areas such as benchmark reforms, blockchain technology and social issues. Most notable of them are a fictional novel in Hindi Language and a sociological study on Bitcoin.

Satya was trained as a Mechanical Engineer and later studied Philosophy and Sociology from coveted Indian Institutes, before entering into investment banking.
