Dale Gray is ta credit risk expert with extensive experience in credit risk, sovereign risk and systemic macro financial risk. He is the developer of macro financial risk frameworks linking finance, risk management and macroeconomics.
He has taught courses on credit and macro financial risk worldwide for the IMF,t o dozens of central banks, and for risk managers. His book Macrofinancial Risk Analysis was published in May 2008 (co-author S. Malone with Foreword by Robert Merton).
He has worked for the International Monetary Fund, investment banks, hedge funds, rating agencies, World Bank, as well as advising central banks and governments. He has worked on over thirty countries, is a frequent lecturer with numerous publications. Recent work includes the intersection of credit risk with FinTech, Cyber risk, and impact of climate change on corporate, financial and sovereign risks. A US citizen, he has a Ph.D. from MIT, MS from Stanford, and is a certified Financial Risk Manager.
