Jeremy is an associate who brings a wealth of diverse experience to Margie Strub. Jeremy represents clients at every level of the construction pyramid. Jeremy acts for clients in every Canadian province, and also acts for clients in several states including New York, Florida, Texas, and California. Jeremy is called to the bar in Ontario, Alberta, and Nova Scotia. Jeremy also serves as General Counsel for several associations, including the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association, National Women in Roofing (Canada), the Saskatchewan Roofing Contractors Association, Roofing Contractors Association of Manitoba, and Breakthrough Academy. Jeremy’s practice is multi-faceted, as he advises on complex contractual matters related to construction and infrastructure issues, and assists clients with employment law, corporate law, and construction litigation, including managing lien claims, mediating disputes, and assisting clients to achieve reasonable settlements.. Jeremy also has substantial experience in cross-border construction matters, international construction finance, P3 projects, logistics, commercial leasing, and drafting and negotiating various forms of commercial agreements including construction contracts. Prior to joining Margie Strub, Jeremy practiced at a major Bay Street firm in the construction and infrastructure group, while also managing a very active employment practice. Prior to that, Jeremy opened the first Canadian office of an international Construction Law firm, managing a diverse array of clients across North America, while collaborating with lawyers in the U.K, South Africa, and Central America. Jeremy is a frequent speaker at conferences around North America and has written several articles related to construction law.
