Nicola Pryce Roberts is a senior lecturer in maritime business and law and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics.

A qualified lawyer, Nicola worked for a number of years for A.P. Moller/Maersk Line and Hamburg Sud before becoming a full-time lecturer. Nicola has extensive experience of lecturing and managing academic programmes both within the UK and overseas, notably in Greece and Iran. Previously at Liverpool John Moores University Nicola has worked at Southampton Solent University since 2011.

Nicola’s research area is marine salvage and her work in this area has featured on TV, radio and in printed media nationally and internationally.

Nicola’s interest in salvage stems from her time as an undergraduate engineering student when a guest lecturer gave a talk on salvage; this interest never dimmed even though it has been many years since that presentation.
