Roger is Atkins’ Transportation Market Lead, in the Middle East, with over 30 years experience in Transport & Infrastructure Projects; he is also an Atkins Fellow. Most of his career has been spent overseas, primarily in South East Asia and the Middle East. Working in Malaysia from 1997 to 2006 before moving to the UAE where he now lives. His key focus is in identifying strategic opportunities that will provide clients with a full insight into SNC-Lavalin Group’s end to end capabilities including advisory, design, project delivery and operations. He has key experience in the Public Transport & Aviation Sectors, Rail Transport and Ports. More recently he has been providing support to the Group’s Global Initiatives notably its Future of Transport programmes. Roger’s key projects in the region include Yas Island, Dubai Airports, Makkah Transport, Qatar’s Central Planning Office, the Sharq Crossing, the Saudi Landbridge and the Saudi Toll Road programme.
