Saudi Road Marking Company

Profile

Saudi Road Marking Company was established in Dammam 1st Industrial Area in 1984 to produce Thermoplastic Hot Melt Road Marking Paint with an annual capacity of 10,000 MT enabling us to cater for over 40-50% of the current Saudi market requirement and develop promising export activities in other countries. By the end of the year 2013, ROMAC is planning to expand its production capacity to 20,000MT to support the increasing demand of the road marking paint industry.

Our success prompted us to be the pioneer in the manufacturing of road marking paint in “Powder Form”, the first of its kind in the Middle East. Our product, which is manufactured according to the highest international standard, has been supplied for in so many countries like GCC and neighboring Arab countries, Jordan, Morocco, Cyprus, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Italy, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Philippines, India and presently expanding to South Asian and South African countries. We are catering about 70-80% of the Gulf Market and are currently exporting 50-65% of our total production.

We also supply “Ballotini” type Glass Beads manufactured by Potter's Ballotini - U.K., that conforms to local Ministry of Transportation and BS 6088 specifications for pre-mix and drop-on type beads. Presently, we are promoting locally produced glass beads conforming to AASHTO M247 and local Ministry of Transportation; both pre-mix and drop-on type beads.

Eager to further expand our market penetration as well as to consolidate our export activities, we acquired industrial technology in the field of manufacturing Road Markers (cat eyes), forming a sister company named “National Road Studs Co.” (NRS). A subsequent production line was then set up to manufacture Aluminum and Plastic Road Studs.
