Francisco Duran is Material Handling Engineering and Operational Manager in Nissan, one of the key department within Nissan Motor Iberia, S.A, managing all parts of flow connections from all regions around the world - doing this within the Innovation Ecosystem at Nissan including emerging technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution, such as Logistics Talent dev., Internet of Things, Autonomous supply, Smart Warehousing and picking, Green last mile connection.

He has been with Nissan since 1999. Prior to his current role, he was the Logistics Section Manager of New Models introduction, with successful project introduced in Barcelona and also European region, such as Electrical VAN in Barcelona, DKD flows between Barcelona and San Petersburg, and multi brand product lines adaptation in Nissan shops in logistics terms.

In addition to his current job, he is a teacher at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona on the MBA & SCM Master’s program from 2015. He has degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona and earned his MBA (Masters) at UPC BCNTalent School in Barcelona.

Francisco speaks Spanish, Catalan and English.
