Alessandra FlaminiCase Handler, DG Competition at European Commission
Alessandra Flamini has been working for the Competition department of the European Commission since 2015. She deals with State aid control in the field of taxation.
Alessandra is also a member of the tax law research group within the Centre de recherche interdisciplinaire Droit, Entreprise et Société of the University of Louvain. The focus of her research is the interaction between EU tax law and R&D.
Before joining the Commission, Alessandra practised EU competition law and corporate law in international law firms in Brussels and Milan.
Alessandra is an Italian qualified lawyer, she holds an LL.M in European law from the College of Europe (Bruges, 2011) and a law degree from Roma Tre University (Rome, 2010).
