John has enjoyed a long and central role in the Financial Strategy of Imperial College including: Multiple private bond placements; the IP exploitation journey from wholly owning Imperial Innovations, to the flotation of Touchstone Innovations to the merger with IP Group; Multi Asset Investment Management of the Endowment from £50m as at 2000 to over £500m in 2023; and the co-development of aligned Real Estate opportunities including the Grad Pad Postgraduate student accommodation platform, I-Hub and Scale Space as true co-location facilities and the emergence of a genuine and inclusive White City Innovation District in North West London.
