Sunaina is currently the Global Head of Private Capital Advisory at Raymond James. Sunaina started a private equity advisory business, Cebile Capital, which was acquired by Raymond James, a Fortune 500 and NYSE-listed company in 2021. Under her leadership, Cebile Capital quickly became one of the leading advisors to private funds sponsors globally.
Sunaina was named one of the “50 Most Influential People in Private Equity” by Dow Jones Private Equity News last year, as well as numerous other accolades over the years. She served as Chairman of the Board of Mindful Chef (now Nestle), and Chairman of the Board of Barrecore (now United Fitness Brands). She currently serves on the Boards of SFC Energy AG, listed in Germany, and the Stanford Institution for Economic Policy Research and the Stanford LEAD Council.
As well as her incredible achievements in business, Sunaina has written and published case studies for the Stanford Technology Ventures Program and is a regular contributor on the financial markets on CNBC, Bloomberg and BBC.
Sunaina is also a mother of three young children. She credits a decades-long practice of Vipassana meditation for her ability to navigate her career and personal journeys.
With a degree in management science and engineering and a masters in chemical engineering, both from Stanford University, in addition to a masters from Harvard Business School, Sunaina is the perfect example of how education changes lives.
