After a short stint at the Dutch Treasury, Wouter started his career as a PM with Pierson Capital Management in 1983, running mixed portfolios. Late 1989, he moved to a strategy research role at ABN AMRO Asset Management, followed by a PM role during 1990-1995. Most of his time here was devoted to the ABN AMRO pension fund. In 1996 he moved to European Fixed Income, of which he became head in 1997. Then he moved on to real estate stocks, as global head, where he served between 2000 and 2005. Meanwhile, in 2003, he initiated the Equity Income concept and acted as global head until late 2015. (never mind the take-overs by Fortis and BNP Paribas). From June 2016, Wouter serves as CIO with Providence Capital, a multi-family office in the Netherlands.
