Mr. Jito Kayumba is a Partner at Kukula Capital, Zambia’s pioneering Private Equity and Venture Capital Fund. He has led investments in numerous Zambian SMEs and actively participates in their strategy and development.

He sits on numerous boards across various sectors in publicly listed and private companies, where he actively implements sound corporate governance.

As an ardent promoter of innovative financing for Africa’s transformation, Mr. Kayumba is often called upon by the United Nations Economic Commission (UNECA) to participate in the formulation of Investment and Finance policy and to speak at high-level global fora such as the African Development Forum alongside Ministers of Finance and Senior government officials across Africa.

He is an investment professional with a background in Political Science, specialising in Public Policy, Economics and Governance.
