Kolawole (Kola) Owodunni is a Director & Chief Investment Officer at the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA). He is responsible for deploying over US$3.5 Billion across various Investment Mandates in the Authority’s Stabilisation Fund, Future Generations Fund and Nigeria Infrastructure Fund. He joined the NSIA as Head of Investment Risk Management where he managed Investment Risk across the Authority’s three core funds. Prior to this, Kola worked at Dunn Loren Merrifield, Lagos, served as a Risk Manager in Credit Suisse London, and was one of the pioneer team that started the Hedge Fund Development and Management Group at Merrill Lynch, London. He began his professional career at Goldman Sachs, London. Kola holds a MENG degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and an MBA from INSEAD, France. He is also a CFA Charter-holder.
