Mabinty Koroma-MooreFounder and Chief Impact Strategist at LIVE Africa
Mabinty Koroma-Moore is the Founder and CEO of Legacy Impact Venture Enterprises Africa (LIVE Africa/Kuishi Afrika in Kenya), which is a social enterprise that works with investors and entrepreneurs to measure and manage their impact in emerging markets. LIVE Africa aims to also improve gender lens investing by helping woman-led and gender-balanced enterprises access impact capital. Prior to LIVE Africa, Mabinty provided strategic guidance on Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) for 17 Asset Management, which focused on impact investments in emerging markets aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Mabinty also served as the Engagement Manager, IRIS and IMM at the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), where she supported the development of strategic partnerships with IMM practitioners and led the GIIN‘s IMM fund manager training. Prior to the GIIN, Mabinty worked as a consultant at the World Bank Group, where she provided support for the Global Financing Facility and assessed investment cases for reproductive health in emerging markets. She earned a master’s degree in Enterprise Risk Management at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
