Malcolm is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Zetland Capital, a manager specialising in mid-cap European distressed and special situations. Zetland was established in 2016, successfully closed its first fund in 2018 and presently manages €800m. Prior to Zetland, Malcolm was Partner and COO at Altima, an award-winning global special situations manager which managed complex liquid and illiquid products. Before moving to asset management, he spend 15 years in investment banking in business development and operational roles following qualification as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen.

Malcolm is a regular speaker at industry conferences, has sat on industry committees and won the Drawdown Award for COO of the Year, 2020.
