Carlos Eduardo Martins

Co-Head of Private Equity at Vinci Partners

Co-head of Vinci Partners' Private Equity team. He actively participated in the fundraising, investment, monitoring and divestment processes of 3 Private Equity funds, which together invested a total of USD1.6 billion in more than 30 companies. He served on the Fiscal and Administration Councils of companies such as Cemar, Ceagro, Los Grobo, Burger King, Uniasselvi, Domino´s, Grupo CURA and Vero and since 2021 has been part of ABVCAP's (Brazilian Association of Private Equity and Venture Capital) Deliberative Council. In addition, he held positions as an executive of some portfolio companies being CFO of Sollus and Los Grobo, and CEO of Uniasselvi (interim) and Domino´s between 2018 and 2020. Before joining Vinci, he was an Equity Research analyst at Credit Suisse, where he participated in several IPO transactions between 2006 and 2007. Previously, he worked as a stock analyst at Banco Modal. He holds a degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the Università degli Studi di Bologna (Bologna, Italy).
