In early 2014, Charlie joined the founding team of Seedstars to help grow the company into a leading emerging market startup enabler. Operating in over 90 markets and counting, Seedstars initiatives include Programs (trainings, bootcamps, acceleration), Events (competitions, summits), Hubs (co-working) and Funds (seed to series A VC). Since 2017 Charlie has led the investment activities of the group and now concluded 81 investments in 31 countries.

Previously Charlie worked with BlueOrchard Finance managing a portfolio of financial institutions in Asia, MENA and Africa. He studied at The University of Leeds, UK with a year at the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA and hold a Master of Engineering First Class Honours degree. Transitioning into finance following an MBA at the Collège des Ingénieurs, Paris, he later became a CFA charter holder.
