Eva Warigia

Chief Executive Officer at East Africa Venture Capital Association (EAVCA)

Eva Warigia is Executive Director at East Africa Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EAVCA), a trade organization for private equity and venture capital funds. In her role, Eva promotes and champions private capital interests in the East Africa region, by building PE and VC awareness among businesses, while at the same time engaging with regulatory authorities to ensure policy design that incentivizes private investment in East Africa.

A curious mind with passion for the African continent, Eva has a decade’s experience supporting business and capital inflows into Africa. Prior to her role at EAVCA, Eva was a senior consultant at Africa Practice providing management consulting advisory in M&A, corporate positioning and investor relations to some of the Continent’s leading businesses.

She has a Bachelor’s (hons) degree from the University of Nairobi and is currently an MBA candidate at Strathmore Business School.
