Frank DunlevyCounselor to the CEO and Vice President of Investment Funds at DFC
Frank Dunlevy is the Counselor to the CEO and President of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (USDFC). Mr. Dunlevy also serves as DFC’s Vice President of Investment Funds and serves on the Investment Committee. In addition, he designed and launched the DFC’s business development efforts on behalf of the Office of the Chief Executive. Previously, Mr. Dunlevy served in the same capacities at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) before its recent transformation to DFC.
Mr. Dunlevy has 47 years of investment banking experience beginning his career in 1971 at The First Boston Corporation and most recently serving as the Vice Chairman of Cowen and Company, where he was responsible for oversight of the investment banking platform. At First Boston, he served as a senior banker to all four of the multilateral development banks, the European Union, and eleven major sovereign countries including in Europe, the Nordic Region, Latin America, and Australia and co-led the creation of the first debt capital markets desk for a major Wall Street firm. Mr. Dunlevy was also a member of the senior management at Montgomery Securities, and was a co-founder of Thomas Weisel Partners.
