Herman Marais is managing partner at EXEO Capital, a pan-African investment manager operating from Nairobi and Cape Town. The team he leads has completed more than 25 PE transactions and exits across eight countries in Sub-Sahara Africa. He completed degrees in commerce, law and management studies. He is a former Deloitte partner and has fifteen years of Africa private equity investment experience. During his pre-investment career he advised on infrastructure transactions and through his general investment practice takes a keen interest in infrastructure solutions suitable to Africa business conditions.
