Tariye Isoun Gbadegesin is an investment professional with over 20 years of experience in finance and investing with deep knowledge of the African investment landscape. Tariye has led investments of over $1billion in energy, infrastructure and industrial projects. She is currently the head of heavy industry and telecoms at Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), Africa’s leading infrastructure investment institution. Prior to AFC, she worked at Boston Consulting Group, International Monetary Fund, and PwC in the US, Kenya, Costa Rica and Nigeria. Tariye serves on the board of Main One Cable Company, a Pan-African sub-sea and ICT company and has served on the board of Cabeolica S.A, a Cabo Verdean wind power IPP and an IFC-ranked top 10 PPP project in sub-Saharan Africa. Tariye has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Amherst College, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
