Gilles is the founder and CEO of Chorus Capital and has 24 years of experience in the credit markets. Prior to founding Chorus Capital, Gilles worked at Goldman Sachs from 1999 to 2011 where he was a major contributor in building the firm’s franchise in credit derivatives, notably in bank risk-sharing transactions. Gilles originated and executed one of the firm’s first ever risk-sharing transactions in 2000.
From 1997 to 1999, he worked at Swiss Bank Corporation/UBS in London, where he helped create the bank’s credit derivatives business. Prior to that, Gilles was a credit analyst at Banque Paribas in Toronto from 1995 to 1997. Gilles holds an engineering degree from Ecole des mines de Paris with a major in Project Management and Product Development.
