Chris Kojima is a Partner of Goldman Sachs, where he has worked for over 25 years. He is global co-head of Alternatives Capital Markets & Strategy (ACMS), a firmwide group established in 2019 to oversee all institutional capital markets, capital raising, and strategy for alternative investments throughout Goldman Sachs. The ACMS Group centrally manages the firm’s strategy and investors’ portfolio solutions across private equity, credit, real estate, infrastructure, growth equity, impact investing, secondaries, and GP stakes. Prior to the formation of the ACMS Group in 2019, Chris was global head and CIO of the Alternative Investments & Manager Selection Group, leading the group since its formation in 2008.
Chris also serves on Goldman Sachs’ firmwide Partnership Committee, and the Merchant Bank Division’s Private Equity Investment Committee, and its Sustainability Council. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and vice chair of the board of The Juilliard School. Chris received a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and earned a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Manitoba, and a Master of Philosophy from The University of Cambridge.
