Managing Director at AlpInvest Partners

Neal is a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group, one of the world’s largest global alternative asset managers.  Neal’s focus is private equity secondary investing via Carlyle’s AlpInvest Partners platform.  Neal focuses on European transactions and is a member of AlpInvest’s global Investment Committee.  Neal has been with Carlyle/AlpInvest for over 15 years across various locations: New York, Hong Kong and Amsterdam.  He also spent time at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, both in Canada (Toronto) and the United Kingdom (London).  He received his MBA from Columbia University and his undergraduate degree from the Ivey School of Business at Western University in Canada.  He is also a CFA charterholder.
