Simon Marc

Senior Managing Director, Global Head of Private Equity at PSP Investments

Simon Marc is Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Private Equity at the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments).

He joined PSP Investments in August 2015 as Managing Director, Private Equity to develop the organization’s private equity presence in Europe and globally.

Simon was appointed Senior Managing Director in June 2020. In this role, he oversees a growing private equity portfolio of $24 billion and global transaction opportunities that include direct investments, co-investment transactions with GPs and primary fund commitments.  Simon leads a diverse team of close to 40 investment professionals in PSP Investments’ Montréal, London, New York and Hong Kong offices. He also heads PSP Investments’ London office.

 Simon has over 20 years of investment experience. He started his career at Goldman Sachs and held senior positions at Permira and Apax Partners.

Simon holds a graduate degree from HEC Paris School of Management.
