Hugh CrossleyCIO at Equitix
Hugh is a founding Director of Equitix. Bringing over 23 years of industry experience, he is responsible for investor relations and has managed the establishment of Equitix’s five core funds and its first European Infrastructure Fund. As Chair of the Investment Committee, Hugh oversees the investment and portfolio management functions and is responsible for the administration and optimisation of the Funds’ assets. He is actively involved in the majority of Equitix’s acquisitions and has managed the bids for all of the Equitix co-investments including the successful bids for the Elizabeth Line, Sheringham Shoal, M25 and HS1. Prior to joining Equitix, Hugh was Commercial Manager at John Laing where he managed Laing’s investments into the Social Housing and Hospital sectors including Bart’s and the Royal London Hospital as well as the acquisition of two Canadian Hospitals. Prior to John Laing, he worked for Bechtel Corporation both in London and USA, working in Power, Airport Development and Civils. Hugh graduated with a BSc (Honours) in Environmental & Ecological Engineering from the University of Newcastle and is a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA).
