Thibault Sauvage

Director, Infrastructure Financing at CDPQ

Thibault Sauvage has served as Director (Infrastructure Financing) at CDPQ since June 2022. He is based in London. His responsibilities include seeking strategies for developing and covering the infrastructure private debt market across Europe.

Mr. Sauvage holds more than a decade of experience in investment and the infrastructure sector. Before joining CDPQ, he spent six years as a director within the infrastructure private debt team at UBS Asset Management. In that capacity, he took part in designing and implementing a great variety of capital solutions in telecommunications, transport, renewable energy, social infrastructure and utilities.

He began his career at HSBC, in Paris and London, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions and on financing and advisory services in the infrastructure, utilities, real estate and telecommunications sectors, among others.

He holds a master’s degree in finance from the Institut d’études politiques de Paris, and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay.
