Ahmet Peker

Head of Institutional Clients Germany at FERI Trust GmbH

Ahmet Peker has been working for FERI Trust since 2018 in the Institutional Clients Germany division, which he has also been responsible for as Division Manager since the beginning of 2020. In this role, he is in charge for advising and supporting institutional investors such as insurance companies, pension funds, foundations, etc.

Mr. Peker has been working in the field of asset management since graduating in 2005 with a degree in business administration (majoring in finance, banking and investment economics) from the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. After his studies, he initially worked as a consultant at Ernst & Young AG, advising several capital management companies on process optimization. After joining Deka Investment GmbH in 2007, he was a senior portfolio manager responsible for the conception and management of various funds, e.g. funds of hedge funds, quantitative multi-asset products and factor-based investment strategies. In his role as a fund manager, he was also responsible for client acquisition and servicing.

Mr. Peker has been a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) since 2009 and has voluntarily led the Germany Chapter of the CAIA Association since 2015. He is editor and author of various publications, such as books and articles and has been a member of working groups at national and international associations.
