Alex is a partner in our London office. He is a leader in the Private Equity & Principal Investors practice. Alex serves private equity clients across a range of topics, with a primary focus on sustainable investing and value creation topics including sustainability scans, climate due diligences and sustainability transformations.
Alex also co-leads McKinsey’s PE Climate Hub, a proprietary capability to build carbon baseline, define decarbonisation pathways and estimate cost of decarbonisation as well as leads McKinsey’s European Infrastructure Investing Initiative.
Beyond private equity, Alex leads sustainability strategy and transformation topics for corporates operating in asset intensive sectors.
Alex joined McKinsey after spending several years with a European corporate finance boutique advising investors, corporates and governments on potential transactions in the infrastructure sectors.
Alex holds a MSсin finance from Warwick business school, University of Warwick, Specialisation: FX markets modelling, UK (Distinction), BS in mathematical methods of economic research from St-Petersburg State University, Russia (Distinction).
