Brian Himot

Portfolio Manager at Beach Point Capital Management

Brian Himot is a Portfolio Manager focused on opportunistic credit and distressed mandates as well as sourcing new investment opportunities and performing fundamental research and company analysis. Mr. Himot has been in the industry since 2006. Prior to Beach Point, Mr. Himot was a Vice President at Banc of America Securities in the New Product Development Group and prior to that was an associate at the law firm of O’Melveny & Myers focusing on corporate tax in Los Angeles and New York. Mr. Himot graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in political science, cum laude from Harvard Law School with a J.D. and with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with an MBA concentrating in finance.
