Mahadeva Mani is a Partner with PwC’s Strategy& (formerly Booz and Company), based in offices in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Washington, D.C., USA. With over 24 years of industry and consulting experience, Mr. Mani serves as the global Chief Operating Officer and Asia-Pacific & Americas region leader of the firm’s Fit for Growth SM company performance transformation practice. He also serves as the leader of Strategy&’s Organization Strategy practice in the Amsterdam office, and as a Global Client Relationship Partner for one of the firm’s top 200 global clients.
Mr. Mani specializes in helping companies achieve strategic cost and performance transformations. He has significant experience working with companies on business model changes, commercial performance improvement, SG&A function cost & performance improvements and culture enabled performance transformations. Mr. Mani works across industries including with companies in the Manufacturing, Industrial, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Healthcare Life Sciences, Retail, Consumer and Telecom & Technology industries.
Prior to joining Booz & Company, Mr. Mani served in multiple sales and business development roles in the telecom & technology industry, where he was responsible for achieving significant revenue growth. He also co-founded and sold a fast growing telecommunications and IT services company based in India and Silicon Valley, where he was accountable for driving sales growth.
Mr. Mani has published several studies and articles on the topics of organization performance and globalization. He led a study of global companies’ organizational responses to the recession and co-led with Duke University a major multi-year study on organizational globalization.
During his career, Mr. Mani has found time to give back to the community, acting as a leadership coach. He has coached over 400 adults on personal accomplishment, leadership and effective communication.
Mr. Mani has a Masters degree in International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C. He is married to journalist Meredith Billman-Mani, with whom he has two children, Priyanka (daughter, 16) and Alik (son, 13).
