Michael Siefke

Managing Director and Co-Head of Europe Private Equity at Bain Capital

Michael Siefke is a Managing Director and Co-Head of European Private Equity at Bain Capital, one of the world’s leading private multi-asset alternative investment firms. Bain Capital was founded in 1984 and has grown to approximately $105 B in assets under management. Mr Siefke leads the Industrial Vertical and is also responsible for Bain Capital’s activities in German Speaking Regions. Prior to joining Bain Capital Private Equity in 2001, Mr. Siefke worked for The Carlyle Group in Germany. Before that, he worked as an assistant lecturer at Westfaelische-Wilhelms-University specializing in accounting, auditing and finance. Mr. Siefke holds a summa cum laude PhD from Westfaelische-Wilhelms-University, where he also received an MBA.
