Nino Tronchetti Provera is the Founder and Managing Partner of Ambienta, a leading European private equity firm focused on industrial growth investing in companies driven by environmental trends. Ambienta manages Eur 1,2 Billion, the world’s largest capital pool for this strategy. Earlier in his career, Nino was a consultant at McKinsey & Co, where he established the environmental business practice. In 1997, Nino founded Cam Tecnologie to develop clean technologies and products. From 2002 to 2007, Nino worked within the Telecom Italia group, first as CEO of Finsiel, and subsequently as General Manager of Olivetti.

Nino is part of the Mid Market Council at Invest Europe, serves as Chairman of the Ambienta Foundation board and as member of the San Patrignano Foundation board. He holds a degree (cum laude) in Business Administration from Luiss University in Rome and an MBA from INSEAD Business School.
