Tarek Chouman

Global Head of Business Development at Aladdin Business, Blackrock

Tarek Chouman, Managing Director, is the Global Head of Business Development for the Aladdin Business within BlackRock Solutions (BRS). The Aladdin business offers the firm's risk and investment management platform to external clients. As global head of Business Development, Mr. Chouman is responsible for all sales and marketing related activities for the institutional Aladdin and eFront ranges of products and solutions. Additionally, Tarek oversees two integrated businesses: eFront Insight, a private markets data and analytics platform and ERM, a specialized unit dedicated to enterprise risk management solutions. He is a member of BlackRock's Global Operating Committee, the Aladdin Business Executive Committee and the EMEA Executive Client Committe.

Previously, Tarek was CEO of eFront, leading the firm through its acquisition by and integration with BlackRock. Tarek spent 18 years with eFront, having joined the firm from its early inception. He served in a variety of sales, operational and regional leadership roles across Europe, North America, the Middle East and APAC.

Tarek holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Management from Polytech Montpellier.
