With over 20 years of experience in senior management roles servicing regional corporate and family groups, Munther was instrumental in setting up numerous strategic joint ventures and has spearheaded acquisitions in multiple industries covering manufacturing, contracting, logistics, shipping and hospitality in the Mena region.

Munther is a highly seasoned investment banker, publicly known for his ability to source, structure and execute innovative and complex private equity transaction deals. He has spearheaded landmark deals across multiple sectors and set-up numerous strategic ventures. He brings solid proven access to the investor community, including large family groups and global institutions.

Munther founded Gate Capital in 2009, a Corporate Finance Advisory firm based in Dubai, UAE, prior to which he was the Chief Investment Officer at Unicorn Investment Bank. He has also served in Leadership roles at Regional Corporates and Family groups. In addition, Munther founded Capital Industries & Investments, a PE firm which won the best PE award in 2008.

He is an active investor in the start-up space, a member of the Emirates Angels Investors and a mentor to several start-ups globally. He also serves on the board of Sunset Hospitality Group, AbFab and Immense Labs, all leaders in their sectors in the UAE market.

Munther speaks publicly on media channels and international forums on the topics of angel investing, VC, transactional services and the general economy in the region.
