James Mackey

Managing Director, Project Capital at OGCI Climate Investments

James Mackey is the Managing Director of Project Capital for OGCI Climate Investments. He leads the team responsible for investing in projects that capture, recycle and store greenhouse gas emissions from large industrial facilities. Before joining Climate Investments, James was Senior Vice President of Finance for Apex Clean Energy, a leading developer of wind and solar generation facilities in North America. He was previously Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for NextEra Energy Resources and has held senior commercial roles with Dynegy, J.P. Morgan and Duke Energy. James holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a BA in Economics from Trinity College – Hartford, Connecticut.
