Mark is a Partner and Head of Private Equity at 26North.

Prior to joining 26North in 2023, Mark was a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Private Equity Group.

Prior to joining Brookfield, Mark was an Associate in Lehman Brothers’ Global Restructuring Group. Before that, Mark was a High Yield Research Analyst at CIBC World Markets, where he covered the telecommunications space.

Mark also held positions in the Investment Banking and High Yield Research Divisions of Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust, and in the Private Wealth Management Department of Sanford C Bernstein.

Mark received a BA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mark previously served on the Boards of Directors of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services, Clarios International Inc., DexKo Global Inc., Longview Fibre Paper & Packaging, and Westinghouse Electric Company.
